Well, tomorrow is the big day! My family and I are going to start trying to lose weight. We are going to start cutting back on our intake by weighing and measuring our food. We are also going to start walking. My daughter and I are going to try to walk at least 3 times a week for 15 minutes a day.
This time I want to make it work. I have let myself get way to heavy. I really want this to stick and become a way of life and not just a DIET. I have tried lots of diets and the only one that really works is cutting back and exercising. I lost 70 lbs a few years ago by doing this but I gave in to boredom and depression and started gaining weight back and put on an extra 30 lbs or so as well.
I am putting myself out here. I hope that I receive some positive feedback. This is my first blog, so bear with me while I get my bearings. I will be sharing with you my starting weight and will be weighing in every week. I will take a starting pic as well to show you the before. I hope that soon I will be sharing with you more pics as the pounds start to melt away!
I weighed in this morning at 257.8 which means I gained 9 lbs this week. We took like 3 days off this week, so I am not surprised that I gained. It just goes to show how quickly you can gain it back if you don’t stay with it. I am back on the diet and going strong now so, it should start coming off.

I weighed in this morning at 248.8 which means I lost 7.8 lbs this week. For a total of 42.6 lbs.
Still been depressed but have been really trying not to eat between meals and eat less at meals. I hope to continue to loose weight in the future. See you next week.
I weighed in this morning at 256.6 which means I gained 6.2 lbs. I have been depressed alot this week and when I am depressed I tend to eat more. So, I assume that this is the reason for the weight gain. Hopefully next week will be better. Nothing else happening this week. See you next week.
I weighed in this morning at 250.4 which means I lost 1.2 lbs this week for a total of 41 lbs.
Went to the foot doctor today. He gave me a prescription for anti-inflammatory and a gel heel cup. We will see if these help.
Chey and Rob are both sick. The car is broke down. We think it is a spark plug but not sure yet. We will be trying to fix it tomorrow.

I weighed in this morning at 251.6 which means I lost 5.8 lbs this week for a total of 39.8 lbs. Rob lost an amazing 7.6 lbs this week for a total of 27.4 lbs. Yay, us!!!!
We went and picked up Cheyenne’s friend and she is staying the month with us. Everyone is very excited. She brought her dog with her and our dogs are taking a while to get used to him. When they first saw him they wanted to eat him up. We introduced him to them a little at a time and now they are better but still don’t really know what to think. This is their territory and they think that he is an invader, I guess. They will get used to him in a few days.
The new puppy Zelda is doing great. She is a cute little thing. We all just love her to death. Cheyenne bought her a collar and harness today. They are too big for her now but she will grow into them.

I weighed in this morning at 257.4 which means I gained 1.8 lbs. This doesn’t surprise me though, since yesterday was our day off for the month. I am hoping that this coming week it will come back off. We have been selling mice and have bought more females to breed since we have people buying them now. Nothing else going on this week. Cheyenne got a new puppy this week. She is a double dapple dachshund. We got her for free on the Polk County Yard Sale thing on Facebook. Her name is Zelda. Here is a couple of pics of her.
